We’re all playing our own game.

Some of us don’t realize it.

Moreover, we’re all playing one main game and many second or third-tier games.

Many (most?) of us are stuck playing one or two of these second or third-tier games, not realizing there’s a more fundamental game to play.

All the while trying to fix or change or become something different in one or two main areas of life… (does it ever make ya wonder why it’s those areas of life that always need to be fixed or changed… and the other areas of life that you don’t focus on like that just seem to work out the way you want them to? Food for thought…)

Anywho…

THE POINT OF THE MAIN GAME we’re playing is TO BE and HAVE EXPERIENCE, which you’re doing, flawlessly.

The problem with that (if there is one) is that you’d change some of what you’re experiencing, if you knew how to.

Which is the thing you’re seeking… and have been seeking since you began to question this whole existence of yours.

What is this place?

What it’s for, what’s the point?

Why am I here?

Who am I?

How does it work?

All very important questions…

All worth answering…

And how you answer them matters.

That’s what sets your base code, your base operating system… that’s what writes the rules of your fundamental game.

Maybe this will ring a bell… “It doesn’t matter how you answer them, except that how you answer them works for you and against you according to how you answer them.”

We’ll go into details about this another time; the nuances are enough to cross the eyes of the hardest of hardcore seekers among us if we don’t take the time to set the appropriate context… which we’ll unfold soon. I mean, that’s why you’re here, right?

And, if you’re going to continue digging, it’s all information you’ll need, but we ain’t “there” just yet.

The Game:

An inner Game played between “YOU” and your IDENTITY.

The point of the Game is to BE and HAVE experience.

And you’re fulfilling that, even though you may not enjoy everything you’re creating in your experience.

And that’s the problem. Getting yourself what you don’t want… in other words, not liking aspects of your experience, or your life… or yourself.

And realizing that you’re doing it… the one doing it, getting yourself what you don’t want.

Hence, the seeking.

The constant search for a secret, or some magic spell, the key to it all.

The problem is you’re looking for the wrong thing and, in the wrong place.

It’s inside you, not out there. (…an inside game…) It’s so simple we tend to miss it.

All the while, it’s right under our nose.

From who we are.

To what we’re about.

To how we show up in the world.

To the impact we do or don’t have on the world and the other people in it.

And no, I’m not talking about “finding yourself.” Or “helping yourself” or “developing yourself.”

I’m talking about establishing a relationship with yourself and learning how to play the Game of your “self.”

(It’s an inner game… played between you and your identity.)

The way we do that is to learn how to play our own Game the way only we can, our OWN way.

The Game: To become the version of ourselves we wish we were, for ourselves, and to be THAT person for the world… (like, develop the character you wish you were playing… more on that later.)

Playing this Game for that purpose is how we get everything we want, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and materially.

If you want it, you can have it. But not by chasing “the” answers out there somewhere… you’ve got to give your own. Those are inside of you.

Give your own answers… not find them, not figure them out… give them. Which writes the rules to your individual game.

For many of us, that means dealing with some shit… facing some things, we’d rather not… and as scary as that may seem, it’s nothing compared to the magic of being who you really are.

You can be the person who is, does, and has everything you want.

And you’re the only person standing in the way of that. It’s not all rainbows and unicorn farts, but the vast majority of it is fucking amazing.

All you gotta do… Go through yourself to get it.
